Connors v. Connecticut General Life Insurance Company, 272 F.3d 127, 27 Employee Benefits Cas. 1014 (2d Cir., November 19, 2001.)
US District Court Judge John Martin had dismissed the disability case of Cliff Connors. Quadrino Schwartz vigorously pursued an appeal in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. A panel of judges in the Second Circuit agreed with Quadrino Schwartz, reversing Judge Martin’s decision. The appeals panel cited to numerous errors by Judge Martin with regard to the facts of the case. The panel obviously believed that Mr. Connors was disabled and sent the case back to Judge Martin for further proceedings.
