Two insurance companies refused to pay a disabled chiropractor that was suffering from debilitating back injuries, due to a previous criminal conviction for insurance fraud in a completely unrelated matter. We vigorously pursued a lawsuit against both companies and uncovered internal documents proving that the insurance companies knew our client was disabled. We demonstrated that the criminal conviction was totally irrelevant to the disability claim, and forced the insurance companies to deal solely with the merits of the claim. As a result, the client received a large cash settlement.
