The True Meaning of Total Disability

We obtained a $1.4 million settlement for a physician suffering from Parkinson's disease.  The insurer was willing to consider partial payments, claiming that the physician's ongoing work in his office rendered his residually disabled, but not totally disabled.

Our firm fought hard in a lawsuit and proved how the physician's life had drastically changed.  Even though he was still working, we demonstrated the true meaning of "total disability" as the terms was intended when the insurance company sold the policy to our client.
